We did it! We smashed it in fact. The mileage from Lands End to John O'Groats, 875 miles, was covered by 11.30am which was seventeen and a half hours after we began. We carried on tho and by the time we reached 6pm we had got more than halfway back again.
The total distance covered in 24 hours was 1449.1 miles! An absolute amazing effort by everyone who took part. It was lovely to see so many people supporting us.
Next step is collecting all the promised sponsor money :O)

Well done everyone, it was such an experience, I thoroughly enjoyed it, even Ernie's singing! not sure if I could take more than 24 hours of it though! Well done Ben for such a great idea and to Gillian and Karen and everyone for all your hard work, especially behind the scenes. I never thought I would appreciate running water as in a shower so much. Well done 4th Heston. Julie
